Financial Support to Developing Country Participants

Thanks to some funds being made available, we are in a position to offer assistance to support attendance at the Conference for a limited number of participants from developing countries across the Commonwealth.

The closing date for applications has now passed and successful applicants will be notified by 28 February 2010.

As funds are limited, participants seeking assistance are urged to explore as many sources of funding as possible, for example at local or national level. A possible alternative source of funds for nationals of ITTO Member Countries may be available through the International Tropical Timber Organisation (ITTO) Fellowship Programme, details of which are on the ITTO website www.itto.int

IMPORTANT: If you are applying for financial assistance, please note that you will also need to register at the conference by completing the form online (see link above) and by ticking the Financial Assistance option only. No other information is required at present such as accommodation and/or social programme.
